I was blessed to grow up in the beautiful Boreal forest of northern Manitoba Canada on Treaty 5 territory, where I was raised amidst the rich legacies, wisdom, and enduring resilience of First Nations and Inuit peoples. Today, as my business operates out of southern Manitoba, situated on Treaty 1 territory, the traditional lands of the Anishinaabe, Cree, Dakota and Red River Metis, I respectfully acknowledge that these lands have always been Indigenous lands.

Indigenous culture and kinship are part of my family’s story. That connection grounds my gratitude, my values, and my responsibility to listen, learn, and act. I am committed to ongoing education, reflection, and action. I am conscious of the painful impacts of colonization and the continued work needed to address its legacy.
