Tried everything and still stuck?
One clear starting point to understand what’s actually driving your symptoms and what to change first.
Kylie Matechuk, RHN-NNCP, RNT
With over ten years in practice and thousands of client cases, Kylie works from an evidence-based, functional approach to identify health patterns that are often missed when symptoms are addressed in isolation. Her work looks beyond nutrition alone, integrating stress physiology, hormones, digestion, and metabolism as one interconnected system.
This depth of pattern recognition comes from years of clinical application and real-world outcomes. It allows her to see what matters most, what can be deprioritized, and how to guide the body back toward balance in a way that is realistic, sustainable, and effective.
DO YOU FEEL LIKE YOU’VE TRIED EVERYTHING?
Diets, supplements, protocols, advice from multiple practitioners. The problem is that often, things have been done in the wrong order or missed entirely. Too many people skip ahead and forget that your body requires stabilization and regulation to accept long lasting solutions. This is the missing link. This is where functional approaches are really well tolerated in people that feel like no one understands them, or that they’ve been left to figure things out on their own.
This is where we slow it down, connect the dots between symptoms, and figure out what actually needs to change first so your body can respond.
I encourage my clients to see their primary care practitioner first, (where I can also assist in an advocacy capacity,) to ensure nothing is missed or overlooked.

How I can Help You
These systems are interconnected and are rarely addressed in isolation.
Women’s Hormonal Health:
PMS, PMDD, PCOS, fertility challenges, endometriosis, perimenopause, menopause, thyroid-related issues, and cycle irregularity.
This work focuses on hormone rhythm, energy, and mood by looking at stress physiology, nutrient status, metabolic signaling, and nervous system input rather than treating symptoms one by one.
Digestive Health:
IBS, leaky gut, constipation, diarrhea, bloating, gallbladder issues, food sensitivities, acid reflux, heartburn, and GERD.
Support centers on digestion and absorption, bile flow, inflammation, and gut-brain communication so the body can properly use nutrients and regulate hormones and metabolism.
Metabolic Health:
Fatigue, weight resistance, energy crashes, inflammation, and cortisol imbalance.
The goal is to restore metabolic trust by improving fuel utilization, stress resilience, and hormonal signaling rather than forcing outcomes through restriction or intensity.
Nervous System & Stress Physiology:
Anxiety, ADHD, depression, PMDD, and chronic stress-related symptoms.
This work addresses how the nervous system influences digestion, hormones, and metabolism, using nutrition, regulation strategies, and body-based support when appropriate.

Some Insurers do, yes!
Many private insurance providers include coverage for Holistic Nutrition or Nutritional Counselling. Important note, I am NOT a dietician. Our services are incredibly different, and if your plan states Nutrition Counselling by a Dietician only, then my services are not covered under your plan.
My services are accepted by the following insurance companies:
Manulife, iA Financial Group, GreenShield Canada, Equitable Life Insurance, ClaimSecure Inc., Blue Cross Alberta, and Blue Cross Saskatchewan.
If your plan includes coverage for Nutritionist, Natural Nutrition – Clinical Practitioner or Registered Nutrition Therapist, you can submit your receipt directly to your provider or through your Health Spending Account (HSA).
Note, for clients located in Alberta, Quebec and New Brunswick, the term Registered Nutrition Consultant would be used.
I do not direct bill.
It’s always a good idea to confirm your specific coverage with your provider prior to your appointment.
